Conflict of Interest
The Journal of Medical Advances (JOMA) is committed to transparency and integrity in the publication process. Our Conflict of Interest Policy aims to identify and manage any potential conflicts that may arise during the research and publication stages. We believe that disclosing conflicts of interest is essential for maintaining the trust of our authors, reviewers, and readers.
Authors are required to declare any financial, personal, or professional relationships that could be perceived as influencing their work. This includes funding sources, affiliations with organizations, and any other relationships that may present a conflict. Authors must provide a detailed statement of any potential conflicts when submitting their manuscripts, allowing the editorial team to assess the situation appropriately.
Reviewers and editors are also expected to disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to provide impartial assessments of submitted manuscripts. If a conflict is identified, individuals may be recused from the review or editorial process to ensure that decisions are made objectively.
At JOMA, we take conflicts of interest seriously and aim to resolve any issues that may arise transparently. We believe that maintaining integrity and trust in the publication process is crucial for fostering a robust academic community.
