Research Misconduct
The Journal of Medical Advances (JOMA) has a strict Research Misconduct Policy to address any allegations of unethical behavior in the research and publication process. We are dedicated to ensuring that all published work adheres to the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to, fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and other forms of unethical behavior in research. JOMA expects authors to conduct their research responsibly, ensuring that findings are reported accurately and honestly. Any allegations of misconduct will be investigated thoroughly, with the editorial team assessing the evidence and determining the appropriate course of action.
In cases where research misconduct is substantiated, JOMA will take decisive action, which may include retraction of the article, notifying relevant institutions, and implementing sanctions against authors involved. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of the research published in our journal and to contribute positively to the scientific community.
We encourage authors, reviewers, and readers to report any suspected misconduct to the editorial office. By fostering a culture of transparency and accountability, we aim to uphold the ethical standards of research and publication at JOMA.
